Providing new homes

Our mission is to provide safe, secure and affordable homes for as many people as possible. We believe good homes make everything possible and are committed to providing people with a range of affordable homes for rent and sale.

One of our aims is to increase the number of homes for people in housing need by starting a minimum of 1,000 affordable homes by March 2023 with an ambition to do more if we can. During the year we started 364 new homes (all affordable tenures) and completed 620 homes. We now own and/or manage 20,819 homes.

Rectory Park, Ealing

In August 2020, we completed a £100 million regeneration project in Rectory Park, Ealing providing 449 new affordable new homes in place of the 270 properties that previously existed on the old estate.

The regeneration of Rectory Park began in 2011 after extensive consultation with residents. We secured Greater London Authority (GLA) funding and worked in partnership with the London Borough of Ealing and residents to deliver the homes for this area.

All the residents who lived on the old estate were given the option to move into one of the new homes. As we regenerated the estate in phases, over 100 residents were able to remain on the estate during the build and move straight into their new home without the disruption of having to temporarily relocate.

During the summer, we completed and opened an outdoor gym in the central park area of Rectory Park.
